New Albany Middle School was well represented in the Union County Spelling Bee held on January 31 at the Union County Courthouse. The overall winner was Victoria Rutherford, 8th grade-New Albany Middle School. Christopher Chen placed second and Nita Hardin placed third. Both Chen and Hardin are 7th graders at New Albany Middle School.
