New Albany School of Career & Technical Education’s HOSA – Future Health Professionals recently competed in the HOSA District Competition. Students who placed in the competition are as follows: Morgan Cook, 5th place – Phlebotomy; Tarah Pickens, 6th place – Home Health Aid; Haylee Whiteside, 3rd place – Home Health Aid; Va’Shawna Fleming, 4th place – Medical Assisting; Raquel Mejia, 8th place – Veterinary Science; Clara Short, 2nd place – Nursing Assisting; Maggie Dix, 2nd place – Respiratory Therapy; Casey Hernandez, 8th place – Phlebotomy; Danica Baker, 4th place – Dental Science; and James Fuller, 2nd place – Pharmacy Science.
