Chandler Nail, NAHS School Reporter

Good afternoon, Americans! Chandler here to bring you more of your beloved high school news.  It was an eventful weekend here at NAHS with both soccer and basketball events.  Boys’ basketball played in the Hot Bed Classic, coming up short to Desoto Central.  They fought hard and we are proud of them as we always are.  Soccer guys lost 6-4 in the second round of the playoffs to our rival, Pontotoc, whereas the girls played Florence, losing 3-0.  It was a great season for the
guys and girls and we appreciate all of their hard work.

Play practice is in full swing so you can look forward to New Albany High School’s production of “Annie” on February 8, 9, 10.  Calling the office at 534-1805 can make reservations; reservation tickets cost $10 and general admission tickets will cost $8.

Also, tune into AM station 1470 at 7:30, 12:30, and 4:30 on Thursdays and Fridays to listen to our new radio show “In the Dawghouse”.  You may also listen to our show on the school website www.nabulldogs.com under the school news link. Thank you for reading and as always, stay classy New Albany!
