New Albany’s High School JROTC program was recently awarded the Distinguished Unit Award for the 2018-2019 school year.  This award recognizes the personal growth and accomplishments of the cadets, contributions of the instructors as mentors, and the support given to the community through community service.  “Numerous AFJROTC units are doing great things in their respective communities, but this unit truly represents the best of our 900 AFJROTC and NDCC units worldwide,” stated Headquarters AFJROTC.  New Albany JROTC program finished their year with a total of 836 community service hours.
