Latrina Walker, Engineering Instructor at the New Albany School of Career & Technical Education, visited the Boys and Girls Club of New Albany on September 14.  Walker introduced the girls to different non-traditional careers in engineering.  Participants learned how to program and code the Sphero RVR Robots during this after-school activity. These activities were provided as part of the Career & Technical Education Non-Traditional Participation Grant Project.  The goal of this grant is to provide students enriched and rigorous early exposure to non-traditional related experiences.
