The Baptist Cancer Center was the recent recipient of care packages presented by a group from the Union County Leadership Academy.  The UCLA team chose care packages consisting of warm socks, puzzle books, lip balm, and other items as their project targeted at making a difference in the community.  The care packages will be provided to cancer patients to have during treatment and visits to the clinic.

“We are very appreciative to the UCLA students for thinking of our patients,” said Randy White, Chief Nursing Officer.  “The thoughtfulness and effort of the students reflect their true leadership skills.”
