Stanford Achieves National Board Certification

Lauren Stanford, an English Language Arts teacher at New Albany Middle School, is among teachers across the nation who recently achieved National Board Certification.  The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards improves teaching and student learning. National Board Certified Teachers are considered highly accomplished educators who meet high and rigorous standards.  Teachers who achieve National Board Certification have met rigorous standards through intensive study, expert evaluation, self-assessment and peer review. Stanford received her certification in Early Adolescence: English Language Arts.
