Carly Pegues, a Junior at NAHS, represented New Albany in the Mississippi Lions All-State Band this past summer in the International Competition in Sydney, Australia. The Mississippi Lions All-State Band won that competition for the 38th time. This is the 2nd time for Pegues to be a part of the Mississippi Lions All-State Band and she plans to audition for next year’s Lions Band.
