New Albany High School kicked off Vocational Vision on September 18 with a fantastic crew from TVA and New Albany Light, Gas and Water. Mr. Bill Renick, TVA Board Member, spoke on his nomination process, the history of TVA, and his role as an active board member for the Tennessee Valley Authority. Tanner Hopkins and Brandon Harwood, engineers with TVA, spoke on their educational background, past career history, and their role at TVA as mechanical and electrical engineers. Mr. Bill Mattox with New Albany Light, Gas and Water educated students on his job with our local LGW and career opportunities in gas, light, and water in our local community. Students also got to engage with their hands on electricity kit and ask all their questions about energy careers in Northeast Mississippi!
