Hello New Albany, my name is Shaun Vaughn and I’ll be your New Albany High School news reporter for the remainder of the school year. I’m a junior at New Albany High School and a proud member of the journalism staff. I hope everyone had a safe and fun-filled Spring Break.
School was not in session last week so for my first column, I decided to branch out and ask students what they are most looking forward to in the last nine weeks of school. One senior, Eric Chaney, said “graduation and the summer.” Many seniors are amped to finish their last couple of months here. When I asked a junior, Montel Hardin, what he was most looking forward to, he said “passing…I’m not worried about my grades, but you know what I mean.” Yes, Montel, I certainly do.
