The past week was a monumental week for New Albany High School. The class of 2013’s football players, cheerleaders, band members, and
JROTC participants were all recognized Friday night under the lights prior to the Bulldogs battle with the Lafayette Commodores.

At the end of the senior recognition, Jeff and Lisa Skinner, parents of David Skinner, a former member of the class 2013 who passed away in 2007, received an autographed football signed by the entire senior class in loving memory of David.

The high emotions of Senior Night carried right into the ball game as the infamous FRA broke out with a new chant which lead to the students whiting out the sky with a cloud of powder. The Dawgs and ‘Dores faught for 48 minutes and then some before Ethan Rainey ended the ball game with a 20 yard field goal. New Albany 10, Lafayette 7. The Dawgs will play Rosa Fort in Tunica this Friday night.
