Poems written and illustrated by New Albany Elementary 4th and 5th grade EXCEL students were displayed at this year’s Literary Luncheon at First United Methodist Church on September 26. Fourth grade students wrote and illustrated Haikus while 5th graders wrote and illustrated Autobiographical alliteration. Sara Jane King and Kara Morrisson, fifth grade EXCEL students, attended the luncheon. They were recognized and their poems read aloud at the luncheon.
