Students in Christy Littlejohn’s 1st grade class at New Albany Elementary School have been studying plant science. They have studied about the life cycle of a plant and ways that plants adapt to their environment in order to survive. Through a school grant made possible by the Dean Provence Endowment for Excellence in Education, plant materials were made available to all first grade classrooms.
