FBLA 2014

 

The Future Business Leaders of America Northern District Conference was held Thursday, February 27, 2014, at Northeast Community College in Booneville, MS. Students from the New Albany School of Career and Technical Education competed in a variety of areas from Marketing to Banking and Finance. The following students were recognized as winners at the district level:

Somer Jackson and Motel Harding, 1st place, Marketing

Quin’shay Perkins, 1st place, Public Speaking II

Reese Neely, 3rd place, Business Communication

Irvin Loreto, 4th place, Business Procedures

Quinlan Amos and Whitney Littlejohn,  4th place, Entrepreneurship

Wesley Dodds, Eathen Rainey, and Will Robbins, 5th place, in Sports & Entertainment Management

Aaron Catt, 5th place, Impromptu Speaking

Hannah Anderson and Bryce Collins, 5th place, Banking and Financial Systems

District winners will attend the 2014 FBLA State Leadership Conference in Jackson, Mississippi in April, where they will compete with other FBLA members from across the state. Alison Moore, business and marketing teacher at the New Albany School of Career and Technical Education, serves as the FBLA advisor.
