Katie Evans, a 2022 graduate of New Albany High School, has been chosen to receive the 2022 Walter S. Bounds Scholarship for Excellence. Katie will be attending Mississippi State University this fall and major in Chemical Engineering with plans to attend medical school. She is the daughter of Dr. Lance and Brandy Evans.
