The New Albany Band Program was thrilled to receive a grant from the Dean Provence Endowment for Excellence in Education grant program to provide a Harmony Director for the Band Hall.
This tool, designed after a traditional piano keyboard, provides numerous functions to aid and enhance learning. The Harmony Director provides options for use in metronomic work, transposition, pitch identification and modification, ear training, instrument tuning, and harmony development.
It is an invaluable tool the band directors use in every class. It has already been a great benefit to the students learning to master their instruments in grades 6-12.
