Ryan Murry & Rick Murry with TSA Embroidery, visited the Career & Technical Education Center on April 28 to assist with getting the new embroidery machine running. They trained both teachers and students on how to use the machine. In addition, they donated embroidery hoops and supplies to be used with the machine.

The embroidery machine was made possible through a $5,000 STEM classroom grant from Tennessee Valley Authority. The grant project is “Designing & Digitizing: Exploring with Embroidery”. Through this project CTE instructors will be able to utilize this technology to make lessons come alive and create hands-on learning projects.

Thanks to TSA Embroidery and TVA for these amazing learning opportunities!
