Representatives from Ashley Furniture visited the New Albany School of Career & Technical Education Center on Thursday, September 29 for a check presentation. The CTE Center is the recipient of a $7,775.61 VEX Robotics grant from Ashley. While at the Center, the guests toured the Engineering classroom, learned about the CTE’s Engineering program, and enjoyed students demonstrating what they had learned with the new robotics equipment. Ashley’s representatives spent a few minutes helping students connect what they were learning in the classroom to careers available at Ashley Furniture.
