A group of first grade students have fun with a plant science project.

Students in Rebekah Wiseman’s 1st grade class at New Albany Elementary School have been studying plant science.  They have studied parts of the plants, learned how each plant part has a special job, and understood what plants need to live and grow.  The students have enjoyed measuring the plant and counting the leaves.  These science supplies were purchased through a school grant made possible by the Dean Provence Endowment for Excellence in Education.  A first grade student measures the plant growth.
