Students in Rebekah Wiseman’s 1st grade class at New Albany Elementary School have been studying plant science. They have studied parts of the plants, learned how each plant part has a special job, and understood what plants need to live and grow. The students have enjoyed measuring the plant and counting the leaves. These science supplies were purchased through a school grant made possible by the Dean Provence Endowment for Excellence in Education.
